THE STORY
DSDA run Destructive Steps - an annual 4-day event celebrating Australia's street dance and cypher culture. The event brings together dancers from all across the country, each repping a different background and dance style. A big part of the culture is fashion and personal expression, and DSDA were looking for t-shirt and towel designs to reflect this.
THE THINKING
A front t-shirt design was established, featuring the official Destructive Steps 16 logo blended in as a background arrow element (Left). The graffiti typography mixed in with a cheeky bubble text to create a fun but fresh vibe.
THE DELIVERY
The delivered merchandise featured a boxy t-shirt and microfibre towel in 2 colourways.
Custom lettering for bubble text and back design.
T-Shirt back design, featuring all the battles to take place during the festival.
